Product Review: Carmindy Game Changer Foundation

Hello my friends!

So I have some fun things to share with you! I was able to try (and have subsequently purchased) the Carmindy Game Changer Foundation!  If you watched What Not To Wear as much as I did, you all know who Carmindy is; if you didn't, Carmindy is the amazing makeup artist on the show, who is probably the reason I'm obsessed with eyebrows.

Anyway, I tried the Game Changer Foundation in Ecru Beige. I was a little scared at first, since I was very attached to my TooFaced products and I didn't know how my skin would react to a foundation as opposed to a BB Cream.

The product goes on heavier than I'm used to and it was a little shocking at first, but after that initial shock, I fell absolutely in love. For me, it seemed like just a little goes a long way and leaves me with a perfect, even skin tone.

10/10--I would completely recommend this product. It's on the pricey end ($35), but it is 100% worth the money. Whereas a drug store brand can cause yellow-ish skin tone, flaking and fading, the Carmindy foundation stays all day and looks amazing!

Stay beautiful!

Love abundantly,
Juliana

Beauty Review: Clinique Chubby Stick Lipstick

I've already admitted I have a slight problem with makeup--so I re-downloaded (and have subsequently deleted) the Sephora App. And because I have a slight problem, I bought 4 Clinique Chubby Sticks. I have no shame.

I've been searching for the perfect lipstick for ages. I love the Make Up Forever No. 9 shade that was given out to Beauty Insiders for the birthday gift last year, but could not bring myself to buy the full size. Anyway, I LOVE my new Chubby Sticks!

I got the following shades (from left to right):  01 Curviest Caramel, 07 Super Strawberry, 07 Broadest Berry, 04 Mega Melon. The Mega Melon is a beautiful light pink. It gives me a simple, understated lip without completely blending into my skintone.  Broadest Berry is a GORGEOUS deep berry color (as the name would imply--shocking, I know).

What I really like about this product is that it is more like a colored lip balm than a heavy lipstick. It's nice and light and you can put on more without having ridiculously pigmented lips!

You know what else is great about these? They're twistable so you don't have to sharpen!
8/10- beautiful colors! Worth it if you can get the 4/$25 deal.

Dupes?
I have long been in the market for the perfect nude lipstick. And while Curviest Caramel is a gorgeous color, I don't have the money to spend on a chubby stick every time I need one! So I went searching for a drugstore dupe.

My match--Julianne's Nude from Colour Riche . Colour Riche Exclusive has these beautiful lipsticks that are designed to be the "perfect nude" for your skin tone. My match was Julianne Moore's color for fair skin. It has essentially the same pigmentation as Curviest Caramel but is a LOT cheaper ($7 at Walmart)!

I can't wait to share my next look with you all!

Love abundantly,
Juliana
